USD 269 SCHOOL CLOSURES MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9,2020
USD 269 will not be in session on Monday, November 9, 2020 to allow for buildings to be disinfected and staff to prepare for instruction with limited staffing.
Palco Junior Senior High School has seen an increase in active cases among students and staff. With over 20 students and staff in quarantine, multiple pending test results and the advice of local health professionals, including the Rooks County Health Department, Palco Junior Senior High will transition to remote learning on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Students will do remote learning through Monday, November 16 and return to the building on Tuesday, November 17.
Damar Elementary will be preparing for in person instruction with limited staff beginning Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
